Chloe Webster

Dance has been central to Chloe’s identity for her entire life. She trained intensively in classical ballet, pointe, contemporary, and jazz at the University of NC School of the Arts from age seven until graduating from UNCSA as a classical ballet major in 2024. During her time at UNCSA, she studied with numerous ballet masters including Susan Brooker, Christine Spizzo, Laura Martin, and Susan Jaffe (American Ballet Theatre), as well as Jared Reddick (Boston Ballet), Endalyn T. Outlaw (Harlem Dance Theatre), Misha Tchoupakov (Bolshoi Ballet), Alana Niehoff (Rockettes) and Matthew Donnell (Kansas City Ballet). In addition to classical training at UNCSA, Chloe performed in world-premier classical and contemporary pieces choreographed by internationally renowned artists, including Gina Patterson, Tom Gold, Sidra Bell, and David Palmer. Her favorite classical ballet roles at UNCSA include performing her dream role as a soloist in “Giselle” (Myrtha), dancing in George Balanchine’s “Serenade” and “Symphonie Concertante,” and performing as the lead dancer in “Tarantella,” which won 1st Place at the Youth America Grand Prix in 2020. She also enjoyed a variety of roles in the UNCSA “Nutcracker Tea” (Spanish lead, Sugar Plum)  and the annual “The Nutcracker” (including Snow & Flower Corps).

Outside of UNCSA, Chloe traveled to study at numerous prestigious summer and winter dance intensives including Chautauqua, American Ballet Theatre, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Alonzo King LINES, the Rock, Ballet West, and Boca Ballet Theatre, where she trained with 12 Artistic Directors over the course of two summers, culminating in performances of “The Sleeping Beauty” and a mixed repertory concert including a featured role in a jazz tribute to Ella Fitzgerald.

Chloe views dance not only as an art form but as a discipline that sharpens focus, fosters empathy, and builds community. She choreographed her first solo at age eight and has won choreography awards at the state and national levels in lyrical, jazz, and contemporary ballet. Her choreography often integrates themes of identity, resilience, and social connection. She has led collaborative workshops and taught classes for younger students, using movement as a tool for empowerment and self-expression.

In addition to being a passionate dancer, Chloe is a dedicated scholar and emerging leader currently studying at North Carolina State University. A Park Scholar and Executive Chief of Staff within NC State Government, Chloe is pursuing a multidisciplinary course of study in business analytics, political science, and dance studies on a pre-law track. With a vision of using the arts and data to drive equity and innovation, Chloe aspires to a future in law or public service where she can continue amplifying underrepresented voices. Whether on or off stage, she leads with heart, intellect, and integrity—an artist and advocate poised to make a meaningful impact.
